Accepting these terms
By downloading, installing or playing NaijaGamez, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our
Privacy Policy and Community Rules.
If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the app.
We use "we", "us" and "NaijaGamez" to mean Ossai Space Limited. "You" means the person using the app,
whether or not you've created an account.
Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under the age of majority where you
live, you may only play with the involvement of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your
behalf.
- One person, one account. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, shared or transferred.
- You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
- We may refuse or close an account where we're required to by law.
Your account
Your username is yours for as long as your account is active. You're responsible for keeping your login
details private and for everything that happens under your account.
Keeping your account secure
- Don't share your password or one-time codes with anyone, including people claiming to be our staff.
- Tell us immediately at hello@ossaispace.com if you think someone else has access.
- We'll never ask for your password in a chat message, an email or a comment on social media.
Usernames
We may reclaim or rename a username that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark, or breaks our
Community Rules. Where we reasonably can, we'll let you pick a
replacement first.
Fair play & conduct
Games are only fun when everyone plays straight. The following are not allowed anywhere in NaijaGamez:
- Cheating, exploiting bugs, or using modified clients, bots, macros or automation of any kind.
- Collusion — coordinating with another player against the rest of a table.
- Deliberately disconnecting to avoid a loss, or leaving matches repeatedly to farm rewards.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or sexual content directed at other players.
- Buying, selling or trading accounts, coins or ranks outside the app.
Our Fair Play Guard reviews shuffles, dice rolls and match patterns automatically. Confirmed breaches
cost you your ranking, and repeated breaches cost you your account. The full list lives in the
Community Rules.
Coins & purchases
NaijaGamez is free to play. Coins and cosmetic items are optional extras that never change the odds of a
game or give a player an advantage at the table.
- Coins are a limited licence to use in-app features. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- All purchases are processed by Google Play. Refunds follow Google Play's policy, not ours.
- Coins are tied to your account, not your device, and don't expire while your account is active.
- If we close your account for a rules breach, unspent coins are forfeited.
Prices are shown in your local currency before you confirm. Taxes are included where the store requires
it.
Content & ownership
The games, artwork, sounds, code and the NaijaGamez name are owned by us or licensed to us. The
traditional games themselves — Whot, Draughts, Ludo and Ayo — belong to everyone; our expression of them
does not.
What you post
You keep ownership of the messages, club names and feedback you submit. By posting, you give us a
non-exclusive licence to host and display that content inside the app so the feature can work. You can
remove your content at any time, and we'll stop displaying it.
Service availability
We aim to keep NaijaGamez running around the clock, but we can't promise uninterrupted service. We may
take features offline for maintenance, updates or safety reasons.
- Local Wi-Fi and offline play keep working without our servers.
- We'll post planned maintenance in-app and on our social channels ahead of time where we can.
- We may retire a feature, and will give reasonable notice before removing something you paid for.
Suspension & termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. We may
suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other players at risk, or is used for fraud.
Unless the breach is severe, we'll tell you what happened and give you a way to appeal. Appeals go to
hello@ossaispace.com and are answered within
14 days.
Liability
NaijaGamez is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or
consequential loss, lost coins arising from your own account being shared, or loss caused by events
outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal
injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If something goes wrong, please
talk to us first — most issues are resolved by support within a few days.
If we can't resolve it informally, disputes will be heard by the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria. This
doesn't remove any right you have to bring a claim in your own country of residence where local law
gives you that right.
Changes to these terms
We'll update these terms as the app changes. When we make a material change we'll notify you in-app at
least 30 days before it takes effect, and we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
Continuing to play after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
